I looked into buying a 30 day Amtrak rail pass to visit my brother in Idaho and was saddened to discover it cost 3x more than to just fly. Hardly worth spending 54 hours riding in coach, ugh!

If you have time, travelling by train is far more interesting to me - you'll see so much of the country that you'll never see in a plane. But yeah, bring wads of cash!

I love taking pictures of musicians. I usually use old photography, but have a few digitals.


And yeah - cows are the most camera-friendly animals I've ever seen!
